Starting a new academic journey is not easy for anyone. There are a lot of challenges to face, and at times, human abilities may not be able to handle them. This is true especially for the new students who need adjustments in many aspects of life. Here at Asia-Pacific International University, we believe that God is the ultimate source of power and wisdom. We also believe that only through God, human beings can be empowered to do their daily tasks. Therefore, God is the first and foremost for the University community.
The Campus Ministry department initiated a series called the Fresh Start Dormitory Worship with the theme “A New Beginning with God.” Different faculty and staff, selected students and pastors who are on campus for the AIIAS Distance Learning program shared devotional thoughts with 6 residential dormitories during morning and evening worships. This series culminated with a Friday vespers program where Pastor Renie Ubara, the Youth Director of the Peninsular Malaysia Mission, shared a powerful message entitled “The Journey To The Promised Land.”
