Asia-Pacific International University joins “Bike for Dad” in Saraburi

    Asia-Pacific International University faculty, staff, and students joined the “Bike for Dad” event in Saraburi on November 29, 2015. It was a lively event with many other participants from around Saraburi province. Those who participated had an enjoyable time with friends as they took part in the mass bicycle ride.

    His Majesty the King is recognized as the "Father of the Thai Nation.” His birthday is also observed as Thailand’s National Day and National Father’s Day.

    The nationwide “Bike for Dad” event will officially be on Friday, 11 December 2015, from 3:00 pm onwards. The total length of the of the biking route is 29 km. The mass bicycle ride is in response to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn's wishes to encourage Thai people to express their gratitude and loyalty to His Majesty. The event is also meant to show the unity of Thai people.

    His Majesty the King has become the symbol of unity and social harmony in Thailand. The close relationship between him and his subjects truly reflects the family tradition in Thai society.
