April 15-17, over 200 attendees came from Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmmar, Pakistan, Thailand, and Sri Lanka for the first ever, Southern Asia-Pacific Teachers' Convention.
With plenary sessions, break out sessions and group worships, teachers and educators gathered new skills, perspectives and the latest in 21st century teaching tools and methods. In addition to these topics, there was also a special emphasis in integrating faith and learning. As Adventist educators, these teachers felt the deep importance of sharing Christ with their students.
